How much time do you have to pick a "best" answer before the question you asked disappears?

I asked a question, and a lot of those who answered and I commented on just disappeared, and another posted an answer, but the rest who answered were no longer there.  I did not delete.

All the questions you ever ask can be found at http://hubpages.com/my/questions/stats

They don't go away unless you delete them, and there is no set timeframe for picking a best answer.

Oh, okay, that is probably the question I needed to ask.  Thanks.

Sometimes they are hidden or voted down and you have to look for them. I don't really know if it is like flagging or what.

Your Q&A dashboard also includes a page for every answer you've ever given, so those are easy to find too...

Okay, thanks.  Well, all of the questions were answered and not voted down, but then I just could not find them after a while.

    There is no time limit.

There are some questions from 8 months back that still show "pick best answer" in my account

I dont pick a best answer, because I do not want to offend someone. However some people answer the question better than others. Also I want to read the difference of opinions, sometimes the worst answer could be the best answer..if you know what I mean.

Right,  Some questions I would have no clue as to what is the best answer or not, but some provide a more detailed answer than others.  All the questions get answered, but then after a while I just do not see them, and I always comment on the answers

Good question and useful answers! I was hoping that questions didn't disappear once the "best" was selected.

Thanks Sunshine, me too.  I did not know of where to go to see all of the questions, but now I do.
