What 2013 movies are you most excited about?

I think the two most anticipated movies of 2013 on my list would have to be "Iron Man 3" and "Man of Steel." I'm really excited about "Man of Steel" since that it's being shepherded by none only than Christopher Nolan with Zack Snyder helming The Man in Blue's reboot. This is going to look like a very interesting way of how they will bring the realism to an unreal character. "Iron Man 3" is being directed by Shane Black who has written a lot of my favorite action flicks from the 80s and 90s. The Extremis storyline with the Mandarin is going to make "Iron Man 3" a sure blockbuster next summer.

I'm a Tolkein fan and therefore a Jackson fan so I'm looking forward to 'The Hobbit".
I agree that the cinema has got to the point where we go to watch something quite extraordinary not anything simple anymore.

    Interesting question

I'm actually looking forward in "The Hobbit" too. I should have put that on my list too.

Breaking Dawn - Part 2, I have an addiction for these movies but I'm not sure how it will work out because of the recent personal dramas between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

Unless they pushed this back, BD PT2 comes out this November, not 2013.

I'm looking forward to "Pacific Rim". Guillermo del Toro is a beast, and will be unleashing beastly monsters and giant mechanized robots upon the world. Also, there is Iron Man 3, The Hobbit, The Great Gatsby, and Star Trek 2 bleeping somewhere on my radar. And another film sure to be bad ass is Neil Blomkamp's "Elysium" with MATT DAMON. Awesomeness coming in 2013!

I totally forgot about "Pacific Rim." I can't wait to see some actual footage. From what I heard from Comic-Con, it looks awesome. "Elysium" looks pretty good too. Good choices.

Definitely Man of Steel. The teaser trailer was very intriguing.

The only thing making me want to watch "Man of Steel" is that fact that Christopher Nolan is involved.  I loved "Dark Knigh Rises", and "Momento" was crazy awesome.  I have to mention "Inception" as well.  It was a very good movie by Chris Nolan and involved one of my favorite actors, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who was alos in "Dark Knight Rises".  Of course I am looking forward to "Iron Man 3"!  I'm wasn't a big fan of sequals and so on, but these have got me coming back for more.  It's no wonder why though.  I may go see Matt Damon in "Elysium" and the new "G.I. Joe:  Retribution".  That's about it for 2013 for me .... so far.
