   I'm getting Kindle Fire. Do you have any advice?
   
   I was wondering if any of you have learned anything by trial and error that could help me jump start my experience? I just got a smart phone for the first time in January, so the tablet is a huge step for me.

   Go to gutenberg.org with thousands of classic books available for free. When you jumpstart your library it gives you a sense of what you can do with your ereader

      I've got about 400 Kindle books already, I read them with the Kindle Cloud Reader app and on my phone. I've been to the Gutenberg site, and it is impressive. Thanks for the advice!

   I own the new Ipad and had an Ipad2. I own a kindle from a few years ago that I still use. I have recommended the Kindle Fire to those that can't or don't want to pay Apple's price. Those I know that have one like them. Google has a new tablet out called the Nexus, that has received great reviews. If you are a Amazon Prime customer, the Kindle is the way to go. If you don't have a prime membership check it out. There might be a free month trial with a Fire purchase,if you haven't used it in the past year.

      I do have Amazon Prime, and I buy all of my digital books from Amazon, so that's why I'm going with the Kindle Fire. I've never used an iAnything! Thanks for the info!

   When I see that you're asking a question, I'm jumping right on it...
   
   Only problem is, I'm a displaced Hawaiian in the Ozarks when it comes to high tech stuff. But give me time, I'm learning a lot with my new encyclopedia called HubPages.
   
   What I can offer is this little tidbit. Because you will be able to do so much with the Kindle Fire, and because it's tied in with Amazon, if you haven't already done so, write a blog and publish it through Amazon. As you may already know, Amazon has a format for selling subscriptions for 99 cents/month.
   
   A Hubber like you combined with a Kindle Fire is like dropping a shard of glass on 1000 kilos of fireworks on a hot Arizona afternoon.  The possibilities are EXPLOSIVE!

   Howzit sistah girl, I personally never fell into the evil hands of Mr. Steve Jobs and all his products. I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, the Kindle is designed to Manini (small) for me. Ho, I get big hands, yeah, small keys to touch, asswhy I had to get the 10" size screen. If its a matter of price, than I can understand the reason for wanting the Kindle, but the app store for Android is good, and inexpensive.

      I was going to get a plain Kindle just to read books, but the one I want isn't that much less than the Fire, so I'm going with it. No worries. I got little hands! Thank you BeniSan!

      Meh, no worries. Trussme, this tablet get its quirks. Plus, I am not to technology gifted, so I am still learning as I go. My wife wants the Kindle Fire, so depending who gets it first, somehow we'll know whethe it was worth the buy or not.

      I read somewhere that there may be a new Fire coming out soon, but it's just a rumor so far. I'ma be mad if I buy one next week and it comes out in October!

      Georgie, not nearly as mad as i was when I bought the first gen ipad only to find out it had no camera! WTH apple?! I thought the first ipad was the future! And i cant video chat on it!
