    Halloween Tips- What is your favorite thing to be for Halloween? Easy costume ideas for Halloween

    Well that time of year is coming up soon for all those little ghouls and gobblins to hit the streets for candy. As a parent I am looking for easy ways to save on costumes and still let my little one look cool for halloween.

    I usually buy a costume from one of those stores that pops up at this time of year...but I wrote a hub on 10 easy do it yourself costumes if you wanna take a look...they're cheap and inexpensive. http://crissytsu.hubpages.com/hub/Ten-E … n-Costumes

    I go as a hippie. Since I lost about 30 pounds and have a few baggy pants, shirts and a few other "old" clothing items, I can pull together a hobo, bum or scarecrow. I also look at the halloween stores for clearance items.

      Also if a person has any sewing skills, it's definetly a plus. The more "skilled" ypu are the better. I've seen people take a yard or 2 of fabric and make a costume out of it.
