Goa is a fantastic place to visit.  North Goa has a larger concentration of tourists, south Goa is the real deal.

If you are planning to visit North India then Delhi is good along with Amritsar  and after that you can visit Himachal Pradesh (Shimla) . You can come by Toy Train to shimla  as it is   World Heritage Site , it would be fun. Shimla is a beautiful place with awesome weather and places to visit like Naldehra, Kufri ,Narkanda, Hatu Peak and lot  more. You can also visit Manali, McleodGanj which has alots of scenic places.

There are so many beautiful places to visit in India. It all depends which kind of place you actually want to visit. If you wanna visit hills, there are lots of hill stations in Himachal Pradesh which are really amazing. For beaches, obviously Goa would be the best option. If you want to see monuments, then there are many great monuments in Delhi, then there is Taj Mahal in Agra.

I think, Goa is a nice place to visit just to chill-out. Since you are planning to come India then I would like to suggest you to visit Nepal as well ( just another one hour flight from Dehli to Kathmandu).
Nepal is known for its exquisite natural beauty, with the iconic Himalayas running across the northern and western part of the country. Eight of the ten highest mountains in the world, including Mount Everest, reside within its borders. Although Nepal is a relatively small country in comparison with its neighbors, it has an astonishingly diverse landscape, from the rugged Himalayas in the north to the humid Terai plains in the south. The capital and largest city is Kathmandu. So, why not try Nepal as well.
If you like to learn more about Nepal and its amazing trips then please visit my websites http://www.enepalholidays.com
Thank you! Hope to hear from you.
    Regards
    Ram Kumar
