   Are Rich people happier than Poor?
   
   We see that making money is the most important priority of most persons. After having wealth, does a person become happier than previous life?

   While I believe that happiness lies within, it can't be denied that a person of wealth has more opportunities to pursue the things that may bring contentment or inner peace.  A wealthy person can afford medications, or counselors, or education--all of which provide opportunity for growth.

      That's absolutely right. As we know that we don't have equal opportunities of wealth, so naturally we are unequal in terms of wealth. When it comes to opportunities, it follows the rich person but to gain happiness is the real purpose of life!

   Money can buy you security, which for many people is happiness.  I think the Beatles had it right about love though, money can't buy it!

   I have been rich and miserable I have been poor and been happy. I think it depends on the person there situation  and there view on the importance of wealth. I believe money cant buy love or happiness.

      Yes IT CAN.  Being poor means constantly financial worry.  It means being on the periphery of society.  It means utter powerlessness & be owned by the more powerful elements in society.  It means poor or non-existent health care, food & educa

   Of course, socioeconomically wealthier people- upper middle, lower upper, middle upper, & solidly upper class people are happier than socioeconomically poorer people- lower, working, & lower middle class people.  That is a fact based upon simply inductive & deductive logic.  Being in the wealthier classes affords one with wider opportunities & advantages. 
   
   Wealthier people have more influence & power than poorer people.  They have the means to make politicians & other important officials listen to their concerns & can use those politicians to make their neighborhoods & schools better.  They also have the means to give their children the best medical/health care & education possible.  They can give their children more cultural & intellectual opportunities through participation in foreign travel & attending opera/plays for instance. 
   
   They have a higher/better quality of life as they can afford to live in better, more secure, more safe neighborhoods & communities.   They also have a higher life expectancy because of the premium health care they are able to receive.  Yes, money does INDEED buy HAPPINESS and a LOT OF IT!
