Just realized a ton of HP emails have been going to my "junk" mail?

This has happened before, and I reset my email settings, and so I did reset this time as well, but some are still going to junk email, and it appears like they are the ones of hubs that I have previously commented on, but new hubs of those I follow, look like they are going to my regular email.  There are so many, I do not know how I will ever get caught up reading, especially with what is going on in my life right now.  Any suggestions?

      Hi Michele,

I know, sometimes I just don't even pay any attention to amount or number that is going into "junk" and then I happened to click on it, and WOW!!!

This happens to me too. I don't know how it decides to keep some and dump others. I just have gotten use to it. Make sure it is set to stay there til you delete it and you can just check it there in spam. I go through pages every few days before I delete. Of course if I checked it daily it would not pile up, but the good news is it is not going anywhere til you send it.

Thanks Jackie.  I know, I noticed over 700 emails in "junk" and some are the ones I left comments on, but others are newly published hubs I've never read!  Regular emails from people come into my inbox, but I have that full to the brim too!

I had that happen to me a couple of months ago, I had to change the filter on my email options to include the title, subject, etc. Even so, some still went to the spam section, after checking the different titles and entering filters to match, it has settled down.

      Dearest  Debbie,

It does drive one crazy, as I am afraid I have missed so many, and it is to the point of unending catching up, especially with what is going on with my mother right now.  God bless.

Hi, Faith.  I am getting the email notifications regularly but I don't go by those anyway.  This is much simpler:
Click your user name tab on the top (black) taskbar on any of your open HP pages.  A dropdown menu lists several items, one being "My Account".  Click that and choose the tab, "Following", then chose "Hubbers You Follow".  This opens all of them with a choice to view them alphabetically or by their most recent hubs, listed in chronological order, most recent to oldest - even if they haven't published for months, that's still listed.  For folks who publish often, though, it's only their MOST recent, so if you know, but you can quickly SEE and click straight to them and then back to the list quickly.  Much easier to keep up and not to have to go from he email lists back and forth to HP to read them.  If you check it daily, you'll usually be able to keep up easily.  I find it's easier than the other way.

Also - I no longer have notification of comments to my own hubs sent via email.  I check them on "My Account" & choose "Comments".  They're posted immediately there.  Sometimes, we  can even almost 'chat', it's so  quick.

Wow, Nellieanna, that is a great way to go about it!!!  What an excellent suggestion dear one.  Yes, I am just drowning in emails with no end in sight right now, and so I am afraid I am going to miss some great writes if I am not careful!

Dearest one Nellieanna,  I believe your answer will help me the most to get some type of control going on here and relieve a lot of unnecessary stress.

I hope so!  These simple solutions have taken the stress out keeping up with what's going on for me.  I've found a lot of those accesses under the various tabs with which HP provides us are quite useful.  On the new profile there are good helps too.

If you add the sender's email address to your contacts, that may resolve this.  Most email programs check your contact list and won't mark items as 'spam' if they come from someone in your contacts.
