The Knicks have a solid team and they are playing well together. If I was them I would try and trade Amare when he comes back so he doesn't mess up your rotation. Other then that if Melo keeps playing the way he has and JR Smith continues to play that well off the bench they will be a team to beat.

New York needs the Knicks to come back to contention.

Knicks had a solid team last season...they just had too many distractions and it affected team play, but if team can keep the 'Drama' manageable they will continue to pile the Ws.

PS Totally agree with peterbin...have to move Amare ...he's going to mess up team chemistry unless he comes back and just concentrates in rebounding & defense. Amare's offense not need it...sorry Big Guy!

PRETENDER!!!  Although, I have to give them credit for their strong start; you will see them slowly disappear in the dust as the season progress.

I view them as a pretender. I'm still not sold on the Knicks despite their strong start.

I haven't seen them play, but based on their roster, it's hard for me to see them beating the Heat. Even beating the Celtics might be a problem.

But it's good to see that the Eastern Conference is getting better and the West is getting worse. (I'm a Laker fan.) Hopefully, the Lakers do better with D'antoni than the Knicks did.
