At what age do you think is the best time to have a child?
In your 20s, when you are self-supporting and have the energy to keep up with a young child.
I staunchly believe that the 30s is the correct time to have a child. At that time(hopefully), you are educated and have a substantial job and/or career. You furthermore have the maturity gained from life experiences that is translated into being a better parent. The 20s are an experimental stage in life. One is finding himself/herself in terms of career, relationships, and lifestyles. As one approaches his/her 30s, one becomes more settled and self-assured regarding lifestyle and career goals. Also, in one's 30s, one has the financial stablity to start and raise a family.
I don't think that you can really decide on a certain age. It really depends on a lot of different factors. Being financially stable is incredibly important. Having a stable home life is also crucial. Of course, everything is not going to be perfect but being prepared to some degree will make things easier.
After being pregnant for the full nine months would be best! (couldn't resist!)
My mum gave birth to my brother at the age of 19.
As long as you are mature enough to handle as a father / mother and financially stable. Then I think it should be okay to have your first child.
before 36 if you are planning to have the first child because when you reach 36,your doctor may request for a special test to ensure your baby does not have any abnormal growing . If you intend to give birth 3 kids, advisable to start having yr babies at at 26 then.
There is no global best age/one size fits all in answer to this question. Everyone has a different level of maturity, stablity, security etc in terms of finding the right partner, accommodation, physical state of health etc.
That said, I would say the best age range would be from around 24 up to early forties.
It much depends on each person, but I think that neither too early and neither too late, that is, I think the best is that we have some fun first... because in all truthness after we have children it's much more about them and about them having fun, than actually us... It's not that we can't have fun, but it's different and there is much more responsability and things to do... so... but it shouldn't be too late also, because I think as years go by we become more tired, etc, etc... Anyway, there is never a right time, there is always something that could be better, more perfect, etc, etc, so we shouldn't postpone it to wait for the perfect time...
It hard to say when is a good age! Some people want to wait until their out of college, and started a career. Others as soon as they get married (which could be out of high school in some cases).
Culture has a lot to do with it too. In some countries 13 yr olds have babies and consider it completely normal.
I have to say having kids in your 30s is a good age. There are a lot of responsibilities with having kids and you need to be grown up enough to handle the needs of your children. Great question.

At what age are children no longer considered children?I ask because, here in Texas, you can sign contracts at 18 but you can't drink or smoke until 21. I don/t think it is the same around the world. I know parents tend not to see their own children as grown up, so I am talking about everyone else,...
