   Is hubpages behind on payments?
   
   I have more then $50 and have had that for 2 months now but have yet to be payed. Is it behind or something?

   That sounds odd. Maybe you should check that out with the HubPages staff. I got paid on the 28th of last month, right on schedule.

   Well, personally, I can't say for sure as I have not reached that threshold myself yet. However, from what I've come across and read so far, HubPages is sometimes behind on payments. However, if you have reached the threshold and you haven't been paid after 2 months, it is more likely that you haven't properly configured your payment method yet. You may try using PayPal to get your earnings from HubPages.

   I had doubts about it as I reached 50$ by end of November but I got paid on 28th of December by Hubpages. SO if you have not been paid it must be because of some other reason. I think you should write to Hubpages to know your status.

   They are not behind on payments. I get my payment on time at the same time each month.
   And to the person who says you need $100 for a payout - please stop giving out false information. The payout threshold is $50.
   
   That said, it sometimes seems late because of the payment structure. I have gone through the same thing in the past, until I figured out just how it works.
   
   First off, the "balance history" page is horribly formatted, and somehow manages to make something simple into a confusing mess...So I will attempt to clear it up.
   
   Let us assume that you got paid on Oct 28th. (Payout date is always around the 28th, depending on business days I believe. I've been paid on the 29th a couple of times)
   
   Your balance history will show something like this:
   ---
   Oct 28th: Paypal payment $50.00
   Balance at the end of October: $0.00
   ---
   The "balance at the end of October" part makes it confusing, because it looks as if you've been paid up, and now you are onto November's earnings. But the next line:
   ---
   Nov. 9 Ad Program earnings: (Oct 1 - Oct 31) $55.00
   Balance at the end of November $55.00
   
   The way it reads October earnings as a balance at the end of November gets confusing. Seeing "At the end of November" makes it look as if it is including November's earnings, but it is not.
   One month I thought I was due a payout because I was adding up the "Ad program earnings" line for a month, not realizing those were from the previous month, and that I'd already been paid for it.
   
   In short, if you are looking at "Balance at the end of December" and seeing more than $50, then rest assured - you will get a payout on or around January 28th. If you don't, then your payments aren't set up. Anybody who got paid on December 28th was getting paid for earnings made prior to December 1st.
   
   I've been making payouts almost every month since last April, and have never had a delay, just a few blips on my part when I misread my earnings statements after a Google slap caused me to not make payout.

      I hope this gets voted as "best answer" because I found the balance history page very confusing, and still do. There were times I would add the columns and say, "Yeah, I will get paid." Then the amounts were not what I was expecting. Good explanation

      I have been payed twice so I know it is set up right. I just thought I would have been payed at the end of December since my balance was above $50 at the end of November.

   Others have already provided you with the correct information, but since there are differing amounts and dates, I thought I would also answer so that you can get some confirmation.
   
   The minimum payout for the HubPages ad program is $50.00.  If you signed up for it and have that amount by the end of any month, you will get paid on the 28th of the following month.  (They changed it from the 25th somewhat recently.)  So you won't get your December earnings until January 28.

   The minimum payout for the Adsense program is $100.00, which is where the confusion may have come from.

   I haven't noticed anything like that.  As Winterfate suggests, you should contact the Hubpages team for a clarification.
   
   Though it is worth noting that payment comes the month after the payout threshold is reached--in other words, they take 30 days to pay.  (But two months would be abnormal, as you say.)

   HubPages pay, pay on time, and there is absolutely no problem. After, over $50 is accumulated, say, on 31.12.2012; your payment will be on 28.01.2013. Check if if the information on your HubPages account, about your PayPal, is correct .

    ii3rittles, I have been getting a payment every month for the past year, pretty much at the same time of the month.  If you have had more than $50 for 2 straight months I would look for someone in hubpages leadership/admin to email.  Also you will want to make sure you have the payment method selected and the information entered correctly.

    No of course hubpages is not behind on payments, they have a reputation of being on time and excellent with paying out their partners!
