How do you make your life extraordinary?

It's all a matter of perception. For example, you can take two women who choose to stay home and raise their kids.  One may say, I never did much with my life, never went to college, never really accomplished much, I'm just a housewife.

The second woman may say, yes, I stayed home for my kids and we had a ball. I was there for them and they have turned out to be the loveliest young people. It was well worth it.

Same circumstances - two different perspectives.  You make your life extraordinary by doing what makes you happy and fighting off negativity.  If you sit back and look at your family and nod your head with contentment - then you have made your life extraordinary.

I love quote which goes something like this 'Great people do ordinary things extraordinarily well.' It is always the simple things in life that make it extraordinary. Being mindful is a good way to notice the extraordinary things of life. The fact that we are alive to experience this life is an extraordinary thing.

I think to 'Just Be: Accept life as it is' makes many things in the present come into focus, and you will notice that life will give you much more than you can ever imagine.

Teach your kids in a way that no one else is doing. I teach my kids to help others even though they do not help back. This happens in school as most of their classmates are kind of selfish for not sharing even though my kids are offering help whenever they are being asked.

I told them it is okay as they will generate good karma for themselves. Not to worry too much of not receiving help from others. Just do what you can within your means. And they are happy about it.

By doing extraordinary things, knowing extraordinary people. Instead of going on the same trip you do every year, go somewhere new and exotic. Live life to the fullest, but be safe in doing so. Surround yourself with motivation and options.

I don't. Life its own self is extraordinary, and I'm just along for the ride to observe and report on it.
