What does the Bible mean when it says Jesus Christ is King of kings & Lord of lords?
The phrase “king of kings” is used in Scripture six times, three of which refer to the Lord Jesus (1 Timothy 6:15; Revelation 17:14, 19:16). The other three (Ezra 7:12; Ezekiel 26:7; Daniel 2:37) refer to either Artaxerxes or Nebuchadnezzar, kings who used the phrase to express their absolute sovereignty over their respective realms (Persia and Babylon). The phrase “lord of lords” is used in Scripture five times, and only referring to God (Deuteronomy 10:17; Psalm 136:3; 1 Timothy 6:15; Revelation 17:14, 19:16). Used together, the two phrases refer only to the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is the biblical way of expressing how important Jesus is; He is King and Lord over all the world as we know it, outdoing any earthly counterpart, however impressive, important, or otherwise successful that person may be.
It means exactly what it says. There is no one, in heaven or in earth that is above his Lordship or His Kingship, and if you can receive it, He has made us joint heirs with Him... now if that isn't something to make you shout I don't know what will. THAT is good news! THAT is the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Grace, even though we strayed from Him, upon our return He clothes us in White and throws us a party that last forever! He surely Loves us,... no matter what! I'M SHOUTING with you!

Can you explain your understanding of the Kingdom of God?I truely believe there are a large number of different understandings of what God Kingdom really is. I am wondering how many out there have the same understanding. What do you think God's Kingdom is and is not?

Since I´m not very familiar with the folklore, and there seem to be quite a few ¨experts¨ here, I thought I´d ask.According to the storyline, Lucifer was the ¨highest of the high¨ or something to that effect. So, I guess that at some point, Lucifer must have had a higher ranking than Jesus. Yet,...
