Do you still get your photographs developed and put them into photo albums?

    Do you still get your photographs developed and put them into photo albums?

    Do you love taking photos and have a cupboard or shelves full of photo albums?   With all the digital technology, have you stopped getting them developed and just view them on your computer or tv or do you have a digital photo frame?  Or do you get them printed into photo books?

    Whoa, That sounds so old-school! No, I haven't done that in a long time. I just leave it on my computer folders and print only when needed. Most are displayed in frames.

      I have my favourites in frames too.  I still know of a few people that still use the good old photo album.  Thanks for your comment smile

    It has been ages since I made an actual album. But I used to and they also included other objects related to the album - such as tickets/dry pressed leaves etc... They were so charming! And it is amazing how much we forget, for example about a journey. I actually think that we lost since we stopped putting photos together in albums. Usually the flood of digital photographs gets burried on some computer harddrive and at some point we stop looking at it altogether, or the harddrive eventually gives up. I personally don't like the look of the ready-made albums you can order for your digital photographs... I think it is an over-all question how we treat photographs in our lives - everybody nowadays has a high end camera and a smart phone and thousands of photos are being uploaded on facebook and such likes daily... I think what really makes the album making worth it (and that could as well be a digital album) is that you actually take your time to sort out some good photographs and then tell a story. Memories kept this way a much sweeter than just an unnamed folder on a hardrive...
