    GM foods v Organic foods

Experiments with GM foods in UK have found now to be detrimentally affecting our wildlife/and bio-diversity.Do you think people care about this?

That depends on who you mean by "people".

There are a lot of people who do care. There are a lot of people who will ignore it. There are a lot of people who will remain ignorant of this data.

As time passes and people become more aware of  what (genetically modified foods) are, that is (GM foods), and what organic means, they began to become more concerned about what they eat. If one is unaware, many times, one does not care. But knowledge about the realities of growing methods and more knowledge about the science that goes into producing foods, quality foods or otherwise, cause people to think more carefully about what they eat and provide to their children. I know a lot about this subject, and could easily write a hub (off the top of my head, without doing any research) because I am an authority on sustainable agriculture, organic farming, and medicine. At this moment I am too busy to write the hub, maybe later. Take care.
    Regards,
    Dr. Haddox

Not everyone. I've started to care lately, after finding out how detrimental GMO foods are. I think most people don't care because they are not aware of the dangers. Knowledge is power. That's what changed my mind. Knowledge about the dangers of eating GMO. Just the other day I went to the store to buy some mushroom sauce and I noticed once sauce was almost half the price of the other one. As I checked the ingredient labels, I noticed the cheaper one was GMO. I bought the non-GMO one. Take charge of your health!

Short-sighted people will not care because they are too lazy to do their own due diligence. Governments (e.g. US) and big corps (e.g. Monsanto) are greedy and selfish and only care about profit, money in their own pockets, not to mention power over everyone else.
Far-sighted people care a lot. They are those who are informed and intelligent enough to know that it's pure insanity to destroy the environment and justify it by citing the importance of the economy when the nation's health is floundering and future generations' health and lives are at stake.
