Important: Do you have a video on your hub that is too small to show?

I have gone through a lot of hubs recently. Lots of these hubs have had videos that show a message saying "this video is too small to show." That might not be the exact wording, but it read something like that. Do you have hubs that are too small. If so it will come up as a fuzzy screen with a message. Please check....

I always look for videos that will work but it depends on screen resolution. A video that gets that message on my desktop works fine on my laptop. Unfortunately, a lot of newer videos on Youtube are HD, so it's hard to find new videos that will work with the smaller size. Hopefully, Hubpages will become aware of this problem and raise the dimensions a little, so that all videos can work.

I don't think so, but I just only made and uploaded a movie slide show last night for my hub. I guess if one of my friends looks at it , they will tell me if something is wrong.

That's good that you have friends that are honest enough to tell you things.

I've found it on other hubs. I raised the issue with one author, and he said it works fine on his computer, so it's different for everyone. Every computer has a different screen resolution. If your videos work on your computer, they may not play on others. This is an issue that should be raised with hubpages.

Yes, it probably should be raised.

I always make sure that the videos play on my computer, but I have had situation where the video at one time did, but later didn't. But as already mentioned at times this could vary based on the individual's computer. Because of this there are times I opt for the full screen video, even though I would prefer the smaller screen for formatting. It would definitely be good if there is anything that hubpages could do to address the issue.

Thank you for the great feedback! Please point others to this question and keep on working on finding solutions.
