   Humans are so full of themselves...the entire world does not revolve around them.  Coincidence does not equal causality.  Just think of the "face" on the moon...nothing more than a random event involving coincidental shadows in the shape of a "face" at the time the image was taken.  But yes, lambs are mammals and mammals share many similar characteristics, resulting in the possibility of lambs appearing "human" because humans are little more than mammals, themselves.  Not to mention, humans have an innate ability to quickly/easily detect and interpret "faces" out of evolutionary necessity.  Take this for instance: do you see a vase or a face? 
   
   Unfortunately, the lamb was quickly killed and burned by simple-minded peasants who saw it as a devilish abomination between goat and man.  This means that we may never know exactly what conditions or mutations could have caused such an event to occur, even though some believe that vitamin A deficiency could have significantly contributed to the lamb's altered appearance.

   Nature does not make mistakes. Nature deals with codes (DNA) therefore error in, error out. Its like saying a computer makes mistakes.
   
   In some parts of the world there are high rates of beasteality. Unfortunately they burned this specimen before it could be tested.

      Beasteality is an unpleasant  thought for many, but it does happen. Thankfully God has established law that everything produces according to it's kind, therefore, crossed  kinds, will not work. Genesis 1:21-25

      Claudia Marie: Saying that two creatures cannot cross-breed “just because” a god says so offers about as much insight and explanation as a parent telling their child to brush their teeth “just because” they should follow parental instruction.

      ChristopherJRex - it is not just God that says so - it is Mother Nature and a thing called science. We have different DNA and not the same number of chromosomes.  Some similar species can interbreed but not humans and sheep!

      Mazzy Bolero: Thank you, as that was the point I was getting at.  Due to HubPages’ ridiculously low character limit on comments, I could not elaborate further in my single response.  “God” is useless, but Science actually explains natural phenomena.

   Most of these things turn out to be hoaxes; the only evidence of their existence is a single photograph.  The bodies always mysteriously disappear, like the Montauk Monster.

      There are actually at least three photos of this lamb…none of which appear to be photoshopped.  The Montauk Monster was simply a decaying raccoon that washed up on shore.

      Genetic mutation is like acid rain on a sunny day; no big deal, right?  Ha!  Forget the picture, as we got people that still "believe" in earth-bound science, as in that, I still find funny... LOL!

      Insane Mundane: This lamb could be a result of genetic mutation and/or environmental influence (maternal nutrients).  Funny enough, scientific facts don’t require your “belief” in them to be true.  Philosophy and religion are another story, however…

   It looks human at first glance,  but look again.  There is is a massive swelling below the mouth around and below the jaw which gives the look of a double chin.  This lamb looks quite dead so probably the swollen jaw was indicative of a lethal abnormality.  The lower human-type lip actually marks the jaw line.  Draw down from the jaw close to the eye, around the bottom lip and back up to the other eye and it looks very lamb-like. 
   
   Or it's a hoax done with photoshop

   It could be a morphed photograph.  We cant rule out the genetic disorder like Williams Syndrome in humans..(The symptoms of Williams Syndrome are mental retardation, heart defects, and unusual facial features (small upturned nose, wide mouth, full lips, small chin, widely spaced teeth).  In rare cases these things do happen.  We need not attach importance to it as a layman.  However, it is for the scientists to look into and study the reasons for this.

   Wow! How amazing is this? Well quite significantly amazing indeed. Our quick acceleration in the field of science, primarily (if you will) with regards to our technology revolution has resulted in Photo Shop knowledge generalizing out to all ends of the earth quicker than Christianity...

    Although it looks human you can clearly see that the lamb itself isn't fully developed. anyone with any skill in Photoshop could take the face and make it into a sheep's head the eyes aren't even open therefore the sheep has to be dead. If you were to also pull the sheep's face out it would make that of a sheep. I also agree with Calculus-geometry's comment there seems to be very very little evidence about the existence of this.
