3rd week on Hubpages, when did you start getting more traffic?
How long time were you on HubPages (constantly publishing new hubs) before the views took off?
It's my third week, I get every day some views on all of my hubs and I must average at around 30 views a day. Last week there were a few calm days at only 15-16 views and after publishing a new Hub I get about 50 for two days or so. I know I get a bit of google traffic also, but I don't see it on HubPages statistics, so that either hasn't started yet.
How did you do when you started?
It takes a few months of regular writing to really see decent traffic. You're doing fine for now.
It was same for me when I started hubpages. I was also worried about the traffic. But after almost 6-7 weeks I started to get good traffic from Google.
Once your article get index by Google, then you will surely get good traffic. You just need to have proper keyword density in you article.
Hope it will help
It takes a while. May be a month, if you are really consistent. There are hubbers who are here for years and yet to achieve 10K page view. For me, its not a big issue. The cross learning experiences from people around the globe is what I am seriously interested in.
It takes two things to build your traffic more quickly. First is lots of reading and commenting, both on hubs and questions. Those are the quickest ways to let people know you are around. Don't just run around following people without reading and commenting. That doesn't work well. Second is to write quality hubs that people want to read.
It takes time to get indexed with search engines, but it shouldn't be too long until you see results. I'd give it up to 6 months to see the more dramatic changes though, as articles often take this long to 'mature'. However, please don't stop, as once it starts rolling it gets easier!! Just be sure to be active, comment, share and be friendly. With good content, the rest will happen naturally.
Once you pass that first hurdle, then as your articles age and spread, the traffic should steadily increase ... at least that has been my experience.
To build up your traffic you will need to spend a bit of time and effort on hubpages.
You will need to submit good quality hubs that people will be interested and also you should ask and answer questions.
Do a bit of hub hopping and find fellow hubbers that are interested in the same things as your self, follow them but also make comment on hubs too.
In essence the more time you spend on Hubpages the more traffic should come your way.

Earlier I posted that people should go and make links going to other sites that do not belong to you nofollow. Then someone mentioned that if your hubber score is less than 85 then "every link" will be nofollow. But this is not what HubPages says. HubPages says:"If your HubberScore...

I tweaked a few hub titles and almost overnight my traffic went up - boom! I'm now getting a lot more international google sites. I haven't made much more money, but I'm hoping that'll soon follow.I can't believe, though, that it's my lasagna hub that's become the most popular. Is lasagna really...

So, after a week of freaking out because my second best earning hub lost all its traffic and was down to like 5 views a day for a week, it's returned to its rightful place at the top of Google for that particular thing. So, now I am happy. I was afraid that my free beer payment was going to become a...
