    Self Hosted Websites

    I am thinking, is there any type of online websites that can make money? For example, what I meant is, is there any types of websites that can make us generate more income?

    Basically, I am thinking of starting either:
    1. Writing blog (if this choice means I will be maintaining not starting a new one)
    2. Online business (selling stuffs etc)
    3. Trader (be a medium for those who want to trade and sell on eBay, Amazon etc).

    What say you? Sorry for my words as I am having issues trying to explain in plain english!

    Hi,
    A good way of making money online is to sell items on sites such as eBay and Amazon. This is low cost for people to try and they can sell items from around their homes to test if they like doing it. And then can use the money from the sale of items to buy more items to sell.

    Tons.  I'd love to be an affiliate for Amazon, but my State doesn't allow it.
    Set up blog with modest advertising through adsense.  Be an affiliate for a product associated with your blog topic.  The options are almost endless!

    There a lot of sites that generate income  but it depends on your goals for making income. Blogging is a good choice but you need a lot of patience to make money. Selling stuffs online is good and you can start from there. Being an affiliate marketer (Trader like you called it) is good too but you need to know how to write in a persuasive tone. In all, it boils down to your goals. So what goals have you set for yourself
