Sorry, my friend, I complained about this also. It looks to be another negative HP improvement designed to take yet another tool away from us.

When we acquire a new follower, we immediately get notified of this fact via our email. It happens, usually, before i am even able to see my activity page. I like this procedure. Regards, Dr. Haddox

I think it was easier in activity page.

Yes, it's annoying isn't it - we used to get notifications and be able to see it on the activity log. The only way I find out is from the daily notification emails I get, but there seems to be nowhere on the site itself.

You should get an email notification when someone follows you.
I think the reason they have taken this off is to save on bandwidth. They recently disbanded the Hub Greeters and this was the reason.

No, there you can see all, but you can not get who is the recent or if he/she has left a fan mail, so you can approve it as before. Thanks.

Sorry for the confusion. We used to get the notifications via e-mail  and now it is a surprise if I am aware of it at all.  Other things take up my time.  I would really like to know and reply to those people.  Good point!

You should always receive notification of new followers in your e-mail.

I saw it in the updates/weekly  That was how I found out about new followers and fan mail.   But other than that I do not see regular e-mails about it.  Anyone else?

I get a notification every time I get a new follower.
