    Caroline Kennedy

Does anyone know how it would be possible to contact someone so important with a quick personal message?

It would be wonderful for Caroline Kennedy to be our first American President - if that is your question. I have not followed her closely but I believe she opted out of politics several years ago.

I am surprised that we have had our first African American President before a woman president.

Caroline is slated to be the ambassador of Japan.

I would recommend Twitter for contacting public personalities. Twitter seems to have the most power out on the world wide web. Hope this helps.

I'm assuming you meant first "woman" American President. smile
What would you say qualifies her to be President?

I do not necessarily think being the child or a prominent politician makes one want to be in political office, and many actually they probably want the opposite, which is probably why she opted out of politics.

LinkedIn sometimes offers a network where you can find people.  If they person has their own website, there may be a "contact me" link at the bottom of the page.

Best thing is, have your own website and let people know  you have it and regularly you post something there. Then people keep visiting your site. You can keep posting your thoughts, wishes, opinions etc on that site. You can connect it to Facebook, Twitter,Orkut, etc so that viewers can easily access it.You can ask your secretary to manage it ,but he should not be allowed to post something on your behalf. That will be hazardous. You should visit that site as frequently as possible, or, your secretary should submit you the printouts so that you can browse them even while on travel, or on bed.
In these days of communication revolution, passing message is not a difficult thing.Difficulty is- finding time for it.But, WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY!

Send her a tweet. Simple. She will have a staff member monitoring her profile. If what you have to say is of any value. It will be passed on to her along with the 1,000's of other tweets they get hourly.
Alternatively write her a letter and pop it in the post. It is illegal for anyone else to read ones mail unless authorised.
So the chances are that she will actually read it herself.
Most people do not use real world mail anymore so it can work wonders for this kind of thing.
Good luck. Let me know how you get on. Sounds interesting.

Why would you want to contact her?   I am not sure what the point is.  I might follow things a celebrities writes, or the movies they are in, but I would have no desire to contact these people.  They are not friends in my day to day life, and really probably do not care much about what anyone who contacts them out of the blue has to say.  I mean they do to an extent, but I am just not sure what you would have to say to her that she would even consider.  It would probably be handled by a rep anyway.

I am not voting, I am just sharing my opinion on this one.  I say go ahead and contact her, but I just do not see too many prominent people taking what we have to say that deeply into consideration, unless it is a really unique issue.
