What is it with the human body and Sex?

In Genesis Adam and Eve walked around naked and were not ashamed.  Religions are now implying that the body is a sin to do what comes natural for it?  When did it change from good to bad and who changed it and why?

Oh dear lady, if only it were true. Yes some bodies are beautiful. But I keep mine modestly covered. For my older children have assured me that letting my 3 year old see it in the raw will cause nightmares for years. Perhaps they speak from experience. hihihihihi
Truth be told not all bodies should be on display. I think I look better clothed. Religions like mine have me wear a robe in church. It is kind of funny but it works for us.
I think what comes natural is modesty. How can one denounce pride and yet show off their body.
On the otherhand check this guy out: http://www.mc2mm.com/miami/men/brooks/m … c30a0b0910  He has a degree in philosophy, loves Jesus, is the leader in a band and is one of the most humble kind gentlemen I have ever met.
He is a Christian by good example. Natural for him is a celebration of the human body, mind and spirit. This man once walked 12 miles with a heavy pack, dropped and ran back 3 miles to carry his old man's pack. I have watched him carry a cripple on to a surf board and guide her safely through waves so she could feel the joy. His body is a temple that brings good things to life and others.
So take it easy on religions, if the promote modesty, it gives their people one less thing to deal with.

My body is the pits and I wouldn't show it to anyone. LOL.  I think the skin and how the body functions is wonderful.  It is set in us to reproduce at an optimal age and it must be around the age of 12.  Something set it that way & we protest it?

A lot of nudity can be frightening thing, but basically I blame the early church leaders. Cultures untouched by Christianity tend not to practice the "modesty" taboos.

I agree Europeans tend to be more at ease with nudity. They also have lower incidences of  rapes and sexual assault and teenage pregnancies then the U.S.

That what I hear too.  Islam hides their women and they say it is because the man will not be tempted.  There just is something about the imagination 1 has when things are covered. Man says women are to blame but the mans mind is not her responsibili

Because Adam and Eve were sinless, they could be totally vulnerable to each other with no fear.  After they sinned, they realized they could no longer trust each other totally, and made a vain attempt to remedy the situation by covering their bare bodies with fig leaves.  After that, the climate changed, so proper clothing was needed to protect them from the elements (cold, excessive sun, etc.).
Sex creates babies.  This means if you're in a negative environment and have a baby, you're bringing an innocent life into that negative environment.  Also, until recently, methods of birth control were limited and unreliable, so it was impractical to have sex if you weren't ready to have a baby.  Of course, this does not explain homophobia, which is rampant in most Christian churches...
