Risk. The old version from the early 80s. I still have it, too. Love it. And....I've NEVER lost.....EVER. Played once long ago with three friends at a local puzzle & board game store (tables set up to try out board games there...too bad they're closed now). These guys had me down to three armies all of which were located in Madagascar. They were all laughing profusely at my predicament. I had the last laugh, however, as I battled my way to world domination. Beat all three of them to a proverbial pulp and won the game.

I second that... RISK is just plain awesome!

That's good to hear. I have never played Risk before and just recently bought the game! I am looking forward to playing it smile

'Monopoly' and 'Snakes and Ladder'. Kids stuff. I play them with my kids during weekend and just recently before school days just started. It's fun and always will be. Thanks.

If I have to pick one, I'll choose Axis and Allies, the Classic version from the 80s. My brother and I played so much back then, we knew who would win after just 3 rounds of play. In fact, I've written articles here for playing each nationality.

    Great question.

Oh, yeah! Loved that one, too. There was one more like Axis & Allies that came out around the same time, but it was set in a different time or something...can't recall the name, but it too was quite cool and a load of fun.

There were two others. Shogun (later renamed to Samurai Swords) and Fortress America. I still own all three original editions.

I've always liked the Sorry! board game. I grew up playing it and can remember my grandmother playing it when I was really little (before she passed away). I played it numerous times over the years with my parents and friends and relatives when they came over for visits. I still have that old Sorry! game and haven't played it in quite a long time... thank you for bringing it back to mind again, I think I'll have to break it out the next time we have a family game night!

Clue. Who did it? Always a race to see who can figure out the crime and get to the room first. Usually my brother, father, and I are rushing to win!
