   Is Seattle QB Russell Wilson just a game manager?
   
   ESPN’s Jeff Chadiha makes that argument in his latest column.  He might be right. Wilson is not as physically gifted as Griffin, Newton or Luck.  And he does have a great defense and his offensive line is becoming one of the best.  There’s nothing wrong with being a game manager. Isn’t Tom Brady just a game manager too?  Is Eli Manning the most physically gifted QB?  Of  course not, and I'm saying that as a Giants fan. Wilson will get the job done.

   As a 49ers fan I'm starting to despise the Seahawks the way I used to despise the Cowboys. The team is made up of cheaters, liars, and thugs who are being crowned as everybody's favorites.
   
   That being said, considering that last season was only Russell's rookie showing, it seems like he might be just a little bit more than a game manager. Gotta call it like it is, even if I don't like it.

      You're being honest in your assessment. I'm a Giants fan, so I can be impartial. I think they have gone a bit overboard in the RW love, but he will be good.

   I don't think the Hawks traded a first-rounder for Percy Harvin (to go along with Sid Rice and Golden Tate) so First Name Russell could simply manage games.  That hasn't been his role since the first half of last season.
   That is also the reason T-Jax needed replacing; he could manage games reasonably well, but failed in each of four late-game chances to win games in 2011.

   Watch the tape.  That's all you can say.  When he needed to step up and make plays, he did.  The Seahawks are built around Marshawn Lynch but Wilson proved they could pass when he had to.  He's elusive, smart and doesn't show fear in his throws.  He's not perfect but he's not a game manager.
