We just released another update to the site.

The biggest change is that we've aligned our "category" forums with our topics hierarchy.  This means that all the 6,000+ topics on HubPages have there very own forum.  For instance, if you're really passionate about breakfast recipes, you can follow just the breakfast recipe forum (and ignore all the other food related posts).  If you care about everything related to food you can still follow the food forum.   You'll see all the posts about food there as well as any topic beneath food.  Darkside likes it, we hope you'll find it useful too.

Coming very soon, there will also be an easy way to track just the forums you are interested on a single page.

We've also finally finished work on a feature that was requested many times.  You can now choose to receive a single daily digest of all the new hubs created by people you are a fan of.  Lots of Hubbers have probably turned off the email notifications because they were just getting too many emails (or maybe they were a fan of too many people?).  Well, its time to turn the notifications back on, which you can do here.

Besides these, there were also lots of bug fixes and other minor improvements.  Please let us know if you run into any problems.

Great!  I turned off notifications during the 100 Hub Challenge because it was driving me bats, and it was so peaceful, I never turned it on again - but I'm conscious I've been missing stuff as a result. Notification is back on!

I did, until I saw the first signs of what will be a flood of Sexy Picture threads that will make a right mess of not only the Entertainment sub-forum but the new posts front page feed. sad

Just wondering if there's any ETA on this feature?  I know you've had a bit of a horror time with the server crash so understand if it's not going to be soon - just curious

thanks. I know there are a couple of topics I want to not see when I come to the forums while I am reading the rest.

I just discovered the dropdown box on Comments is back (moderated/unmoderated/spam), and I've discovered a heap of Spam comments I didn't know existed - some of which aren't spam, so I've been able to rescue them. Thanks!

So, you and your liberal friends are making lists now! If they help it was just luck! If they don't I wouldn't know the difference anyway but, I'm watching you watch me and/or us! Who are you anyway?

I love, love, love the ability to check for copied hubs with a click instead of combing through my hubs!  Thanks so much for this!

Kudos to the team ... but when have they ever let us down? Keep up the great work! We need to keep ahead of those squidos and get Paul Deeds elected as president in 2012... I'm already making the signs!

Of course, if the Mayan doomsday occurs in 2012, these signs will all be meaningless ... hmmm ...

    Big Question

Did you randomize fan list display, or this is just a glitch?

    Thank you.

The order of fan display is now periodically randomized within the four ordered groups (and approval of fan mail has been moved into my account):

1st - Fans that left you approved fan mail whom you are also a fan of
2nd - Fans that left you approved fan mail, but that you aren't a fan of
3rd - Fans that didn't leave you fan mail (or fan mail that you disapproved), but that you are a fan of
4th - All remaining fans that you aren't a fan of

Wow, this is really good, especially for Forum threads.

And emails, Phew! - What a relief.

I think HP Staff deserve a Bonus at the end of the Month for this. ((Hinting to the Director)).

In Hubbitivity "Edit Preferences" there is a option for Forum Posts - "in forums of categories that you are a fan of"

Is this what we should do to see the forums we want to see , or is there any other option.
