There are people who believe in God and people who do not.
I know that there are gnostics and agnostics but this is not about that. Do all the people who believe in God also believe that man has a soul that does not die? Do all the people who do not believe in God, do not believe that man has a soul that does not die?
I am a believer. I believe that all have a soul that will carry on in the afterlife. Those who are saved by the grace of God through Jesus Christ who have accepted his death on the cross will go to Heaven. Those who deny him will go to hell.
Sorry if this offends anyone, but this the blunt way to put it.
I do not believe that those who deny Jesus will go to hell, but it does not offend me that you believe this and probably most people in America believe this.
You don't offend me! I think of it this way...I have nothing to lose by believing Jesus died on the cross for our sins....but I have a heck of a lot to lose if I didn't believe and it was true. Atheism is too exhausting for me! Never no answers!
As a non believer I believe that the Soul(living tissue) dies. It is the Spirit that doesn't expire.
I believe in God. I also read from the Holy Bible, New King James Version.
When my grandmother passed away, I had a hard time coming to grips with death. These Bible versus helped me understand our journey after death:
Ecclesiastes 3:20. All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust.
Ecclesiastes 12:7. Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it.
I am an agnostic atheist and I don't believe in a soul. I believe we have life as we see it to make the most out of it while we are here because when we die all of our self dies. The best reason to do the most with the time we have, knowing it will end.
There is no evidence for the existence of a soul....or God, therefore, believing in such imaginary and subjective folly is absurd. Beliefs should be based upon evidence, not childish whims and impulses.
I do not believe in god, and I also do not believe that humans have a soul. To me, death is no different than the place we were before birth, which I don't think anyone complains about.
I do believe that humans produce energy that can imprint on this world in some capacity. Ghost is the closest word to describe it, but I do not believe these imprints are sentient. I see it as more of an echo, remembered by certain elements for a limited amount of time. Some might call this a soul, but I wouldn't. Not anymore than I would call an old photograph the soul of the individuals therein.
There are people who believe in a god, but don't believe that their souls are everlasting or that there is an afterlife. The existence of God and the existence of an afterlife are two different issues. As articles of faith, neither can be proven, and neither necessarily requires the belief in the other.

Do you think any kind of afterlife exists?

We hear often of atheists claiming that have looked for evidence of God but can find none but what would convince them? How do they go about investigating? How do they expect believers to prove it to them when it can only be proved to oneself and not by another?

Are you born with your soul looking the way you do when you die?Or, when you die old do you grow young in the afterlife, and die young you grow old? Is there an age limit after death?

Do you believe in Life after death? And what happens to you after you are dead?We are all bound to die one day...is there anything beyond death. All religious people think there is DO YOU?

As A Believer, Can I Be Able To Hear The Voice Of God Speaking To Me Like Moses And Abraham Did?

So here's an interesting question, whether you believe in God or not: How big of a deal is it if you're wrong?Atheist: If you believed there was no God and then you died and met him, how big of a deal do you think that would be? What would you have missed in your life or what would you stand to...
