Mine was a 1985 Ford Escort. My parents never bought me a car after I got my license, so I bought my first one after saving my money from Navy boot camp.

I probably saved the money for my Chevy from my first job from high school.

Why I got the car, my father bought me it when I was 17, why did I write it off, because I slid into a stone pillar at 45mph !

I got my 1999 Mazda MX-5 last spring. Enjoyed it all summer, and am now having a different sort of fun with it in the snow!

Be careful in the snow or you might lose the car.

Oh I will. Spent the money on good snow tires, so I can rally it around everywhere! Nothing will teach good car control like a lightweight RWD car with no traction control, stability control, or ABS!
