The Christian god lives in Heaven. That's all I know, and I'm not Christian. I'm just guessing you're asking about "The One and Only God".

Within us-God presents himself through the actions of man.

God is within. Not many religions will give a straight answer. New Age teachings will say it. Christians tend to say, the kingdom of God is within, or all of you are "gods" and children of the most high, with a small "g". Later they say, know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and the spirit of God dwells in you, 1 Corinthians 3:16. But I have not seen too many Christians who would make such a powerful statement about themselves. For some reason, even though their scripture says it, they want to put God at a distance in some far away place. They have the term blasphemy which stops them from claiming it. Some eastern religions boldly will say, I am God or the spirit within me is God, just like Jesus said.

God lives outside space and time, where we really live, but have become blind to it.

This is why Christ said that the Kingdom of God is within us.

Physical reality is a temporary shadow -- a construct, much like programmed software. Space, time, energy and mass are merely products of God's creation; they can be made to disappear or manipulated by someone who is at one with the Heavenly Father -- like Yeshua, when he walked on water, or Peter, when he joined his master and before doubt set in.

We are all unique aspects of the same source energy.  So, "god" is technically within us all if you want to call it that.  The God that Christianity teaches us exists is not what we truly are as beings.

I don't have a religion, I have an understanding through my own personal experiences.  Being a part of who we are requires us to go deep within ourselves and connect to our consciousness.  Once you do that, you are aware and can feel "god" as you can feel yourself.  Looking outside of yourself for something to worship is just a distraction put forth to keep us from seeking the truth within ourselves.

I say this because when you are asking outside of yourself for forgiveness from an outside god, does it truly matter if you are "forgiven" if you don't first forgive yourself?  I've seen many people in my life praying and praying and praying for forgiveness or redemption and they keep asking for forgiveness for the same things because they personally don't forgive themselves, so they keep asking.  It's all about personal responsibility for our own feelings, actions, and what we create for ourselves.

God is everything. He is within and without; He is finite and infinite; form and formless. The Spirit utilises the form in order for a manifestation to take place. This whole universe is an adulation, worship of the glory of God, from the tiniest ant to the ends of the Universe. All is He or even She, if you like. There is only Spirit. There is only God in His manifold creation. Nothing else.

In 2Corinthians 12:1-6, the apostle Paul describes a man (himself)  being caught up in the third Heaven into Paradise. I believe this is where God the Father and God the Son are. His Holy Spirit indwells believers.
