This is just my personal opinion. Faith is believing in the teachings of whatever religion a person follows. Some of those things, such as the existence of God can't really be proven by the hard sciences, yet people believe he exists. That's faith. Religion is not only the beliefs a person holds, but also the practices and rituals attached to being a member of that religion. Church attendance, baptism, confession, etc added to the beliefs forms the religion or denomination within that religion.

Faith and religion may be used in the same context, yet they are quite independent. You may be born in a family which follows certain "religion" and has "faith" in certain "Deities" or "Spiritual Thing". Whereas you may follow the same religion without "faith" to keep your family happy. You may have "faith" in yourself, your abilities, your education and your friends.

    Got it!

    Faith is not belief.

Belief is a fallible attitude toward some knowledge. "I believe in Santa Clause."

Faith is a spiritual state of perfection. It is perfect confidence and responsibility, but utter humility. From this point miracles happen. From this attitude, prayers are always answered instantaneously and in the affirmative. Ego can't reach this state.

Jesus walking on water is faith in action. Moses parting the sea is faith in action. I've experienced this state many times.

Religion is a human activity which frequently perverts spiritual wisdom. Too often, religious groups are caught up with egotistical attitudes that block spiritual growth and advancement and only create more suffering.

The science of spirituality was written down over 4,000 years ago by Abraham. Moses added to that body of wisdom by writing one of the great Kabbalist texts -- the Bible. Its wisdom has remained hidden to most everyone until recently. In 1995, the hidden wisdom of Kabbalah was made public, because now is the time that God ordained that such wisdom be released. This is when we need it most.

Kabbalah teaches us how to become like God -- perfectly loving, generous and all-knowing -- perfectly altruistic. This is not "religion," because it has not been perverted by Ego, except in New Age circles, where they understood nothing of authentic Kabbalah.
