Is it better to use the laptop with the charger connected all-time or not?

    Is it better to use the laptop with the charger connected all-time or not?

    I want to know about better battery timing performance of the laptop. Should we allow regulary batter charging and discharging?

    Is using a fully charged laptop (battery) without the Plugged-in charger better for the battery health or we should prefer to use the laptop with the charger plugged-in even when the battery is fully charged?

    Once it is fully charged, unplug it. Then let the battery almost deplete completely before plugging it back in.

    Keeping it plugged in all the time not only wastes electricity, but it kills the battery life. You could buy a new laptop that can run for 5 hours on its own battery. If you leave it plugged in all the time, it degrades that battery life until it gets to the point where it can only last for 20 minutes. Worst case scenario, the laptop can't even run unless it Is plugged in all the time.

    This is applied to all electronics that run on rechargeable batteries.

    It is often recommended to charge your laptop fully and then unplug it to allow the battery to deplete before charging it again.

    Not only does it degrade the battery life but it increases the heat of your computer which is a major cause of damage to your hardware.

    If your laptop is always going to be plugged in, just remove the battery so it runs on AC power. Problem solved.
