   Does men prefer to chase the girl?
   
   I am watching The Talk. Tamar implied that sometimes when a guy call/text/misses you you're suppose to not answer. I'm a real individual. If a guy is calling me and I am by the phone I am going to answer. What do you think about it?

   This type of behavior is why men are sent mixed messages. If a woman is interested why play games? To me, this could be considered rejection and the man will act accordingly. Probably thinking the woman is not interested so why waste his time. I also think it is awesome when the woman shows interest and lets the man know.

      I personally  know alot of gorls who do this. I never understood it. A close friend of mine would stand her guy up on the first just to see if he truly wants to get to know them. I was wondeing if their is some understanding I am missing.

   I think the gentleman who gets a call from you is a lucky guy. Most men who are secure with themselves are pretty direct. If they call it's because they want to talk. If their call is ignored they may or may not try once or twice more, but they'll soon take the hint that you aren't interested in speaking with them.

   Historically men often pursued women with calls, letters, poems, flowers, and showing up to  carry heavy items and so forth. I know one elderly woman who told me she turned down her deceased husband for a date at least 10 times before she finally agreed to go out.
   Today that man would be considered a "stalker"!
   In the modern era most people don't want to "play games". Not many men are going to risk being labeled a "stalker" or accused of "sexual harassment" for flirting with a woman who shows no sign of interest.
   "Meet me half way" is the mantra of today! If a man doesn't detect there is a (mutual interest) then he will move on. Most women are aware that (other women are not) playing "cat & mouse" games.
   As for ignoring the phone calls apparently a lot of women are afraid of "losing themselves" in relationships. They worry about not appearing to have (a life) of their own.  Therefore they don't want their men to believe they're always "available". It's better to have a life than to fake a life. Wherever you go there you are.
   Even if he "thinks" you're busy (you) will know you weren't. Suppose he asks you what you were doing or where you were....then what?
   Lying is never the best way to build a relationship in my opinion.

   I've not watched 'the Talk', but I think if someone is calling you (and you want to speak to them) you should just answer and not play games and try and be manipulative- it's just silly, and could backfire if you like someone.
   
   I can be quite bad at answering calls - but that is because my phone is somewhere else or I don't hear it. I wouldn't ignore someone to try and make them want me more.
   
   Hopefully you can find a guy who appreciates you being straightforward.
