   The one about the cat made me laugh and to be honest I'd probably question my desire to be in a relationship with someone who was rude to my dogs!
   
   1, 2, and 4 would depend on if they had already discussed their relationship status and how seriously they were taking things. If she was saying that she was taking the relationship really seriously but then turned around and refused to change her relationship status, didn't want to take him out to events, etc. then I can definitely see why this guy would be upset. But if they hadn't discussed it and she was under the impression that they were still taking things slowly and somewhat casually, then he probably should have discussed that with her BEFORE breaking up with her over it.
   
   5 & 6 are pretty judgmental and if a guy said those things to me while breaking up with me I would be very happy that the relationship was ending. I honestly don't think that by the 2 month mark you're obligated to tell the person you're dating how many sexual partners you've had... I'd argue that you're NEVER actually obligated to disclose that information if you don't want to.
   
   Regardless of whether his reasons hold up or not, breaking up with someone via text message is awful and it kind of sounds like this dude has more problems than he thinks his (ex) girlfriend does.

   I think this girl probably thanked her lucky stars when this guy broke up with her. He seems like a nut. I agree about the cat one being hilarious. And saying swearing is unladylike? What century is he living in? I know lots of gals who swear from time to time, and it never occurred to me to think they are "unladylike" whatever that means.

   I saw this yesterday. Originally I thought it came from a teenage boy especially when he complains about her not updating her Facebook relationship status. However once you read the article you see this came from a (30) year old man after only dating this girl for just 7 weeks!
   He practically expects her to tattoo his face and name on her forehead. My guess is if she did and wore bangs for day he'd blow his lid!
   Clearly anyone who insists on being in your "inner circle" of family and friends after only dating you for a few weeks is sending you "red flags". Imagine how possessive he'd be in 7 months or god forbid after marriage!
   The girl admitted she is (allergic) to cats! Therefore she should have never entered into a relationship with man who owns a cat. That should have been one of her "deal breakers" unless she expected him to give up the cat.
   The same holds true for him with regard to #5. If swearing is a "deal breaker" for him he should have ended it the first time he heard her curse. Apparently it was not nearly as important as her Facebook relationship status though.
   His #4 reason falls in line with his #1 and #2. He wants her to make him the center of her world and after only knowing him for 7 weeks! That's Scary!
   Lastly #6 "You won't disclose how many sexual partners you have had..." Frankly that's none of his business.  "upwards of 3 and anything more than that is (unacceptable)" says a lot about his own sex life. Very few 30 year old men ask for a woman's "number".  Those who do have a mental competition going on and need to know that they have slept with more people than their girlfriend. According to the article this guy was described as being a "geek" and odds are his number is 3 or less.
   This girl should have sent him a "thank you" text back.

   That this adolescent-like text actually was sent by a 30 year old man, would have been more than enough for me to whip this "Bobo the Clown," an immediate return text:  "OK, this is fine.  Too bad, so sad.  Much luck in your future....See ya!" 
   Sorry to laugh at this guy, but seriously?  Every one of his comments is funnier and weirder than the last.  Heaven forbid had he not exposed his immaturity and awkwardness so soon.  This girl would have had some sticky situations with which to deal! 
   Poor guy may be doomed to a single life forever.  Then again, it is said that there is someone for everyone in this world.  He may want to look for a really young, inexperienced and nerdy female that will allow him to train her to adapt to his rules and expectations.
   This woman got lucky to get the red flag so soon!  She should RUN!
