   If we grow from humanity to divinity, we can get peace. But we want to cling to being human only and not willing to evolve further. So, peace will only be elusive.

   Nothing is destined, though it often appears to be that way.   There are Universal Laws a few of which we are familiar but a lot more we do not seem to know about.   You could say that if a man steps off the edge of a tall building the Law of Gravity (a physical law) will pull him down towards the centre of the earth and that his body will not stop falling until it hits a surface which will allow him to fall no further.   But whether he is pushed (a deliberate act by another) jumps deliberately (a deliberate act by himself) or has taken a risk and slipped, none of these incidents is destined.   All were caused by laws of one type or another either physical or psychological.
   
   Imagine a DVD with INFINITE programs on it.   When we decide on a certain course of action we change one possible program for another.   The program is so complex that it affects not just us but an infinite number of others people - and more than people.   By our action we might seemingly cause someone else's so-called destiny to change.   
   
   Let us take the very simple story of the blacksmith who didn't hammer home a horseshoe nail on a message carrier's horse.
   
   Because the horseshoe came loose the horse got lame.  Because the horse got lame the rider could not deliver the message on time.  Because the message wasn't delivered on time the army never got warned of the enemy attack.  Because the army weren't able to deploy a defense in time the battle was lost.  Because the battle was lost the war was lost.  Because the war was lost the whole country became enslaved...all because of a loose nail in a horse's hoof.
   
   Destiny.   I think the poem says it all and correctly.  "I am the master of my ship, the captain of my soul."   Be aware of that.  Practice that awareness...and your so-called destiny will be consciously, rather than unconsciously, what you make it.

   Wherever two or more people gather there about to be disagreements, arguments, or fights that arise from time to time.
   If you put that on a global scale with various cultures, religious beliefs, economic disparity, and various levels of military might there are bound to be wars fought somewhere around the world at any given time. Power is rarely given to one. Nations seize power.
   As long as greed, envy, and a competitive spirit are a part of man's DNA there will never be peace. Some will hate you for what you have, others will try to take it from you and some want the most and the best of everything so they look for ways to out do you.
   Most people would rather be "special" than be "equal".

   The Saints came from us, and so must be included. Do you think that Christ, Buddha, Ramakrishna and Krishna found peace? If they did, then the potential must be in all, since all are made in the image of Spirit.
   
   The Christ alluded to this when He asked us to be perfect and also told us that we would do greater works than Him. The Buddha encouraged Ananda to continue and Sri Krishna taught Arjuna on a battlefield.
   
   Why teach what is impossible to attain? Why speak of Love and ask us to be imitators of Love if it is impossible? Indeed, why should Spirituality persist for so many thousands of years?
   
   If you ask me to swim and I tell you that I do not wish to enter the water, then I will not be able to swim. If I seek peace and you ask me to pray interiorly and externally; to meditate and to serve my fellow humans selflessly, ceaselessly and daily without fail, in one form or another, then I would do so.
   
   In the same way that I did not learn to swim, so too I will not find peace or indeed, I should not judge you, at least until I try your ideas for peace. If I do not try, then who am I to complain. We need many seekers of peace, as perhaps the seeking itself will eventually answer your question. I bid you God speed!
