Is a dishonest fan a real fan?

   I've just discovered that someone had been dishonest with me here. I know this because I saw him brag about it in a hub. My question is: should I quit his fanclub and kick him out of mine? Because I'm not a fan of this person any more and also know that he has never been a real fan of mine.

      I hope you don't mean my hub Pacal because it was just a taking the piss Hub, anyone I do fan is because I enjoy their writing or like the persons humor within the forums. I have deff always been a genuine fan, when I wrote that hub for a laugh I actually worried a few of my fans might take it the wrong way, anyway I do hope it wasn't my hub, if it was let me know and I will delete it !

      Pacal, you know, you're really well liked here.  I don't know who the person is or what happened and can understand you don't want to get too specific with the details, but honestly, people really, really like you here.  Don't let one nasty piece of work change your life in any way.  Keep doing what you want to do.  Do what you like to do.  Look at all the fans you have!  If there was one insincere person who did something rotten and dishonest, there are a couple hundred people out here who like your presence, your voice, your style and your sense of humour.

   You can't kick someone out of your fan club.  You can only deny their fan mail.
   
   And if you don't feel like a fan of that person, why would you stay in their fan club?

               Now you made me hungry, I think goog old english fish, chips and mushy peas. I am on a diet so nothing for me. I have another holiday to do in a few weeks and did not like the beached whale look on my last holiday to spain. trying to slim down to a seal.

    Remove him immedietaly. And you can ask him to defan yuo as well but you can't defan him yourself sadly. That should be a new feature I think.

    Seriously, don't worry about it.  90% of the people who fan you are not genuine fans -- not the kind who are going to read every word you write with interest.  Maybe something you said sparked their curiosity.  Maybe they think they would like to read an article or two of yours in the near future.  Does it really matter?  If you do not enjoy the persons writing, unfan them!  Getting your feelings hurt over a fan or two is silly.
