   What is "key word stuffing" in regards to a hub's summary?
   
   This phrase is mentioned often in forum threads. Do you know what it means? And - do you know what  the ramifications are of applying the method?

   "Keyword stuffing" refers to the practice of loading a webpage with keywords or numbers in an attempt to manipulate a site's ranking in Google search results. Often these keywords appear in a list or group, or out of context (not as natural prose).

      It's a great job as far as I think. It is very good to help people by dragging them into discussions. I appreciate your attitude, Phyllis. But, by the way I am zero in keywords usage. I do not know how to incorporate keywords.

   Keyword stuffing in a summary means writing a summary in such a way as to include as many keywords as possible so that the hub ranks high in search engines.  Whether the text makes sense is debatable.
   
   It is not allowed on HP but other sites have no restriction. From reading the forums, I heard there are a few on HP that need to be addressed by editors, etc. These hubs typically are heavy on advertisements, people who use SEO to write quite a number of niched hubs (products, topical, etc.). Other hubs are not advertisements for a product, but rather are pre-cursors that lead readers to click to go to a site off HP.
   
   Do they do well in ranking?  If they don't get shut down by HP editors, then yes, forum experts (of which I am NOT one) say they do quite well with views. It is usually because they tricked the reader into clicking their article by putting so many keywords in the summary, thereby leading the reader to believe the info they were seeking would be in that article because the keyword search led them there.
   
   Often their overuse of keywords have little to do with their article - usually they are spammy, have only one mention of the keyword or the article eludes to the keyword in the text, and their sole purpose was to get the reader to come to their site.  Keyword stuffing cheats the reader out of finding what they were looking for in the first place when they clicked the URL.

      I don't actually know how do they put key words. Do they paste words from webs ranking top in traffic or is there any other trick there? When I search some matter for my blog articles, I always land into such meaningless sites with no content at all
