   What’s Your Favorite All-Time Cop Show?
   
   Remember back when the Sergeant would have his morning meetings before the patrol officers would go out to do their jobs? You got it—Hill Street Blues. I must admit that was a television show worth watching. With that in mind—what’s your all-time favorite Cop Show? (This question may seem a little redundant but the focus is on our “boys in blue” and not the detective branch.)

   The answer for me would be The Untouchables. A show about a special task force during the prohibition era that could not be bribed. Loved the Tommy guns and the shoot-outs. Much of it was in fact fiction but that's okay. They had a great actor playing Capone. My second all time favorite cop show would be Australia's Division 4. It was gritty with plenty of street action. A bit dated now but wonderful at the time. Hill Street Blues was a show that had its moments. It was worth watching.

      Law and Order SVU! Love that Elliot and Olivia..the new ones are not quite as good but I'm still hanging in there!

      Yes well a lot of cop shows are tame compared to The Untouchables.

   No doubt about it:  Law & Order......all varieties of them, but especially "Special Victims," with Olivia and Elliott!   I make sure I always catch the Law & Order Marathons. 
   I admit that police/lawyer programs are probably my favorite TV series of all.  I like most of them.  C.S.I,  N.C.I.S,  The Mentalist,  The Listener,  Criminal Minds.......For a while I was hooked on "Flash Point."
   Now-a-days I'm heavily into "Blue Bloods."   Love Donnie Wahlberg & who doesn't love Tom Sellick??

      Not a bad selection. I do like Criminal Minds and The Mentalist. But Flash Point is brilliant and too often underrated.

      Rod....The talent of the Actors on Flash Point is Phenomenal.  They make their characters so incredibly REAL and simply true to life.

      There was one episode of Flash Point that got to me. A high school boy  forced to eat garbage by a bully. Bully's mates laugh. School boy goes home and gets his dad's gun and goes on a murder spree. Bully loses his girlfriend and his mates are dead.

   Law & Order SVU is definitely my all time favorite cop show, besides the fact that I am totally in love with Detective Benson, It is an awesome show and still watch the marathons all the time.

   William Shatner did a cop series called "TJ Hooker" with Adrian Zmed and Heather Locklear. I think, after all these years, that remains my favorite uniformed cop show.
