As far as I know, without going to Google and relying on memory, I think a Jabiru is a big Australian sea bird.
The jabiru is the tallest flying bird found in South America and Central America, often standing nearly the same height as the flightless and thus much heavier American rhea. But this bird is very rare and considered as an Endangered species of bird.
The jabiru is a large black-necked stork, Ephippiorhynchus asiaticus, and it is found in South East Asia, including Australia.
It is mostly found in freshwater wetlands, in the warmer parts of the country.
Jabirus are large birds, standing about 50 - 50 inches tall, with a 90 inch wing span.
