I don't care, personally. In fact, I care so little I would rather not know about it. I can't help but wonder why Bruce insists on everybody seeing him in a dress. But whatever the reason, it's making him happy. So good for him/ her. A wise person once told me that just because something is true does not mean it deserves my attention.

The way I see it someone's gender identity is their business. More power to Jenner for being brave enough to come forward but many have to make these sorts of changes and decisions without the support of the media and without any fame to fall back on.

While I support Caitlyn Jenner's transformation I have to wonder why the media seemed to wait for someone famous before they jumped on the transgender equality bandwagon.

Why would the media wait for someone famous? I think you answered your question in that statement. Famous...media...headlines. Famous and media kind of go together like peas and carrots.

How I feel about it doesn't matter - as the only opinion that should matter is that of the person having the change.

I'm happy for Caitlyn finally being able to be her authentic self on the outside as well as inside. The media circus is a little annoying tho.

But regardless, Caitlyn doesn't care if I have an issue or not - and that how it should be

I think a person must have a looser wire in his head, to want to have a sex change, especially a man that want to be a woman (been a guy rock!!!  We are stronger by birth, girls need train their butt off, just to be a strong as we are, we don't need to do anything, we sit there and be a couch potato and is so strong anyway.  We have no periods.  We are emotionally much stronger and don't cry and have a melt down over minor things.)  But once again, it is a free world, and not like sex changer are hurting anybody, so, if they want to get a sex change, well, they can get their sex change.

It really doesn't matter how anyone feels about his sex change except him. Quite honestly I think its simply ridiculous that this is even considered news. Kind of shows the direction our society is headed when a sex change dominates the news instead of real problems like war, cancer, poverty, etc.

"(It is just my guess that he is an atheist; he's never said anything, but it is like gaydar, we atheists can recognize each other."
Connor Cruise got in big trouble for saying that. You should watch out for the PC police.

It's not my body, so it's not my business.

Personally I couldn't care less about it, if it weren't for my FB feed being full of incendiary posts of "the first one who posts a pic of Mrs Jenner will get shot at" or "this is what a real heroism is" (obviously being in war) etc.  I don't understand the media storm about the whole thing - I mean, it's not as if is anyone else's business than Jenner's, and since it's her decision, no one else's opinions should matter.

This is one of the matters I like to refer by my favourite game character: "Opinions are like testicles. You kick them hard enough, it doesn't matter how many you've got." No idea why so many people feel the need to stick their noses into things that are not their business, and feel the need to offer opinions where they are not asked for one.

I was initially sad when I saw that because he was my first favorite athlete. Even though I was not old enough to know what he did at the Olympics, he was still famous for his feats several years later. It bothered me that he had to go through the drama (even though I felt worse for him when he had to endure that TV show), but I also think he is a bit of a publicity hound and asked for that drama.

After it is all said and done, I think she will be an inspiration for a lot of people, but I also agree with Kevin in that we as a society are celebrating the wrong people.
