When talking about views on an article, what is considered good?

And I realize good is subjective.

I think a hub that has at least 2,000 views is good. The only hubs I have that are or have been featured all have over 2,000 views.

Are you talking about daily views or overall? If daily, 350 views per day is awesome but i never hit there.

Well, if you use wordsmith2418 criteria, only 37 of my 207 hubs would be worthy of the title 'good'.

However if you consider that most of the topics I write about, the majority of writers wouldn't touch if you paid them and then use my criteria of at least 500 page views while maintaining a featured status, then 127 of my 207 hubs could be considered good.

Meaning I have 127 featured Hubs that range from 500 PVs to 28,000 PVs and of those 10 are over 5,000 PVs and half of those are over 10,000 PVs.

For me trying to write evergreen hubs is the best way to accomplish this, which of course requires in-depth research.

However if I switched from conspiracy articles to foo-foo pieces such as recipes, dog grooming and How To create your own arts & crafts articles I would probably do much better but would have eaten the barrel of a gun long ago.

The other consideration is that before Google put the hammer down on Hub Pages a few years ago, I was easily getting a 1,000 PVs a day with half as many Hub articles, now I'm happy with a 100 a day.
