   If it's ok to stomp on the US flag, is it also ok to stomp on the rainbow flag gays identify with?
   
   How about a flag that says BlackLivesMatter?

   Yes, but unfortunately the Social Justice Warriors will try to find some reason why their flags should be treated better than Old Glory.  It's amazing that so many people exist within the borders of this country who really hate America.  There are people who have given their lives to provide these same people the opportunity to publically hate the nation - it's the ultimate ironic slap in the face.

   The American flag is a felony to do such an act because it is our nations flag, The LBGT flag is just a multi color flag with no state or government protections, the same goes with the BLM flag but still not illegal It is disrespectful but not illegal.

   Or, ideally, people could grow up and stop being babies and stomping on flags - regardless of what they are, because it only draws negative attention and there are more meaningful ways to protest.  Also, others could also stop being hyper offended when there are bigger problems in the world than stepping on flags.  People could all be more self-reflecting and work on being better human beings in general instead of worrying about what everyone else does.  There are so many things that are and aren't ok - at the end of the day the person whose actions matter most are your own however.  If stomping on a rainbow flag or US flag makes one feel superior somehow, then let them have at it.  I don't condone it - but free speech and all that.  I don't have to like what anyone says, but they have the right to say and express it so long as it isn't harming anyone.

      burning and desecrating a U.S. flag is a felony punishable by law and can be sent to prison. It is the flag that gives us the freedom to even write about this subject. doing these acts is a felony and pure hatred for the United States.

      The amazing thing is the people burning the flags claim to be the biggest victims of all, and yet cannot bring themselves to leave the US to go to whichever other country  they feel is so much better.

      It's not illegal Matthew, the Supreme Court overturned that as unconstitutional and while still highly distasteful, it is considered a form of free speech.

   It's not "OK" to stomp on, burn or rip up a flag representing something of importance or allegiance to anyone or any group.  This is of course, providing that flag is not being displayed to portray hatred, defiance or with intent to harm others.
   Stomping tantrums, as toddlers will do occasionally because they are babes who have yet to learn positive behavior, productive ways of expression or means for attention are not even OK.  Right, parents?
   Having said this, we can all pretty much see the rampant disrespect, anger & hatred that is sadly an everyday occurrence everywhere~~anymore.
   
   IMHO, I don't see an end to much of the discourse, division & chaos created by human beings against others. Quite honestly, do you?  It's all very sad, shameful and should be frightening to sane individuals. 
   Yes, this has always been but we cannot deny the massive spread and explosion of such things.  This issue has become progressively worse.
   
   Just as goodness, tolerance & peace comes from the heart and is shared throughout the universe~~so is anger, hatred & sheer intolerance.
   Although we can know this, "we" do very little but stand by, watch in horror, admonish & complain.  Worse, many seek retribution and/or vengeance.   
   Flags are symbols. Stomping is a negative action.  What is being destroyed is our very lives.  If we truly care, individually we would STOP.

      When I said 'okay', I referred to how blasé it has become because people have had so much freedom for so long - they do not realize what it stands for.
      You could burn flags terrorists use like ISIS, Iranian or Palestinian flags and receive more flak.
