   Do you believe that luck, knowing the right people, being born in the right environment w/ the right
   
   parents, & starting at the right job greatly influences a high level of success?  Why?  Why not?  Do you also believe that the right destiny plays a major part in success?  Do you believe that hard work is overrated in terms of achieving success? Why? Why not?

   Hard work is the way for the common person to better themselves.
   
   The people that are born into families that are rich or connected may not have to work as hard. Then you have the pretty people that get doors opened and things given to them because they look as society dictates people should. These people usually reach a higher level of success because it is given to them.
   
   Lastly you have the lucky people that get breaks or happen to meet someone that can better their career. The average person that works hard can fall into this category.

   Luck can only take you so far. The rest is still up to you. Take Lindzy Lohan for example, been able to get into the entertainment industry, is lucky a financial extend, because it help you to make lots of money. But Lindzy's out of control life style mean she screw up that chance completely and now she is broke and...I think in prison.
   
   Other people for example Bill Gates, he didn't have much luck to begin with, but still make it to become the richest man in the world.
   
   I say your success 30% might be determine base on lucky or unlucky, but 70% is determine base on your action.

   With any success story there are instances where "everything" fell into place in order to get there. However the key is being "prepared" when the opportunity presents itself. Generally speaking everyone is going to get a certain amount of opportunities in life and whether or not we make the most of them will determine how our life turns out.
   Having said that (life is not fair) when it comes individual talents, gifts, connections, and other advantages. It goes without saying Bill Gates' children are likely to have a better quality of life than a child born to blue collar parents. And yet goal driven ambitious and determined people have risen from "nothing" to succeed in America.
   Mark Zuckerberg's mother and father are still running the same dental business they did before their son founded Facebook. Who would think the son of a dentist would become a multi- billionaire?
   Mark Zuckerberg has surpassed Donald Trump's wealth and Donald had more advantages early in life than Mark did.
   History is filled with examples of people who had less than we did at the start and made it to the top.
   They found a way to overcome their challenges.
