Did the Obama admin consider Trump to be an agent of a foreign power?

Under U.S. law, a federal court would have to have found probable cause that the target of the surveillance is an "agent of a foreign power" in order to approve a warrant authorizing electronic surveillance of Trump Tower.

If the tapping was legal, then who does this reflect badly on? Is it still in operation? Who are they spying on -  Melania? Wouldn't it make sense as Prez - that Trump could just ask the his own security that he now controls? If can't - why? To me it seems obvious that if true, wouldn't twitter about it. Seems all a big distraction. What do you think?

Why can't he ask, the answer is simple, When the CIA takes down a country, which is what they do, they don't tell anyone. And they especially don't tell anyone, when they are committing treason against the United States of America.

The Obama loyalists are still inside, or the CIA is totally incompetent. It is more likely they are just working to overthrow the US government. What evidence do you have that they are working to protect the US and president Donald Trump?

Start by explaining the high level leaks from the WH?
Who says they are following the law? Even when they are doing their job, that don't follow the law. Of course, they don't do a good job as they have bungled some many of their attempts to topple governments. Libya, Syria

Spot on... 'free thinkers' can't help but question the whys of things.
Sheeple just accept whatever CNN, MSNBC, WPost tells them to think
And the truly dangerous ones, tell you to believe CNN, MSNBC, etc. and call you a conspiracy nut if you don't.

You can't find negative evidence, therefore, what evidence is there that they are protecting the Country, and what and how specifically? They have produced Zero evidence that Russia did anything in the US? No one helped Trump win the primary?

Do you know who the last president was who authorized phone taps? Richard Nixon.  And we know what happened to him.  Trump needs to consult with counsel before he tweets and appears not to know the laws that affect his own job.

That's how DANGEROUSLY, Incompetent & IGNORANT of his own job he truly is ~ What Trump doesn't understand is that if he were "Wire-TAPPED", the "FISA Court", the Ruling Body which Authorizes such SURVEILLANCE, must have Justifiable Cause

You cound be 'wiretapped with a Police stinger and you wouldn't even know it. How does Trump know? Perhaps by being black mailed? Open access to TT - could be anybody, I put $$ on Israel first.

Obama used every means available to him to tap, hack, and undermine Trump, not just his election efforts, but after he became President as well.  More and more of this will come out.  More and more of his 'agents' in the various halls of D.C. will be ferretted out and removed.

The worm is going to turn... this effort to make Trump out to be a Russian pawn, along with every member of his Administration, is now about to backfire... it was lunacy for them to try this, but I am not surprised that they did, because there are none more unstable and out of touch than Pelosi, Watters, etc. that are trying to pull this off.

A warrant, if it existed, would most likely have been ordered by the Department of Justice independently of the White House.

Yeah... I don't see Loretta Lynch just flying off the handle and going after Trump (twice) without a nod to do that from Obama.  Just being real.

"Rep. Jason Chaffetz, a Utah Republican who chairs the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, says he hasn't seen evidence of President Donald Trump's claim that Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower last year during the election.

Chaffetz tells "CBS This Morning" that "I have not seen anything directly that would support what the president has said."

But if the allegations are true, Chaffetz said, there would be a "paper trail" on such a wiretap because it would require a warrant. He said Trump has the power to declassify such a court order.

Chaffetz said Trump has "tens of billions of dollars in intelligence" at his fingertips. He says, "I got to believe, I think, he might have something there. But if not, we're going to find out."

Again - if true why tweet? He is the President, the most powerful man in the world. Don't allow yourself to be distracted by  !squirrel!  - mmm what was I saying?
