hi, just looking for some advice.

   I'm new on here and i'm not really sure what i'm suposta be doing.  Most of what I see on here are ppl try'n 2 sell things.  I am more of a fictional righter with a flair for the comic in everyone.  Is there a place for me here?  Where do I start?

   Theres defintely a place 4u, theres plenty of fiction and poetry writers and stuff here. Maybe u should start by looking at the categories and finding one that fits something u want 2 write.

   Always a place for everyone and this is it. You can write about anything you wish here and it is optimal if you want to sell things on your hub or not you can keep it completely ad free if you so choice.

   Hi and Welcome! HP is a big place so you will find a bit of it all - writers, poets, affiliate marketers, photographers, etc. etc.

   There's lots of great ways you can use hubpages - the key to getting started would be to figure out a topic you'd like to write on and just get started.
   
   That may be hard to figure out for you at first, but perhaps using a short story or two from your arsenal and getting it published is the way to go.
   
   Lot's of people simply enjoy the community and writing aspect of Hubpages, while others depend on it for a regular income!
   
   Welcome and don't worry, there's lots of good resources to start you hubbin
