   For Americans, after American politics which other country's politics is most important today?

   These are not in any order but I would say Iran, North Korea, Russia, India and China. Iran and North Korea should be a no brainer on why we should pay attention. India and China are the two largest (by population) countries in the world. China is soon to be (if not already is) the largest super power today. Russia is working hard to take back their place in the world as a super power. While China has a stable (as far as we know) government that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t pay attention to them.
   So, in my order
   
   1.    China
   2.    Iran
   3.    Russia
   4.    North Korea
   5.    India

      Thank you, Michael. I asked because I see a hodge-podge of this and that, but plead being somewhat ignorant of world affairs. Yet, I have a desire to understand more relative to today. As most I have only so much time.

Until We The People of the United States of America do what is necessary to ensure the U.S. political process is in accord with the constitution use has e no reason to even be concerned ab out any other nation's political process.
   
   When you read that you will see most of what is happening around this earth is happening because We The People are not doing what the Constitution DEMANDED we do which is to control the government. That is the only thing I am concerned about, once use Constitutionally obtain control of this nation then we can, if need be, concern ourselves with others nations' political process.

   Tim I read this and it came to my mind that it is not country at all. It is the usurpation or surrendering of countries rights and sovereignty. The European Union.

      Eric, I am purely a novice regard politics & governance, but have interest. A dearest best friend lives in Sweden. To be a better friend I keep up somewhat with Sweden's political climate, which means taking into the context of Europe and Russia.

   I must admit, I don't have a great deal of energy left over after watching the circus that's going on here right now, but I would probably say Russia..  I find Russia a fascinating country, with an interesting history.  They also have an interesting history in their relationships with this country.  When I was growing up we considered them 'enemy number one.'  With their involvement in our elections this year, we're looking at them again as 'the' enemy.  I think we need to have more understanding of the situation with Russia right now , so I'm paying close attention.

      Come on you two. Why would we become upset over something we have no control over. Think of it as a sports game. Root root root for your home team and then drink to drown your sorrows or drink to cheer your success. Not necessarily booze ;-)
