    Better leaders know how to first follow. And better leaders are forever learning, letting go of pride but instead not claiming that they know everything.

    Circumstances generally dictate what type of leader is needed.
    Someone could have had massive success dealing one set of challenges but not be the "right person" to handle another set of challenges a group/company might be facing.
    Ultimately a leader is someone people are willing to follow and execute his/her vision. Some are analytical, demanding, and others are motivational. There are various leadership styles.

    A good leader surrounds herself with talented, hard-working people and encourages them to shine. She brings out the best of them with praise and encouragement. She never takes a good employee for granted. She always wants her workers to be learning more and gaining new skills. When someone is facing a problem, she's there for support and guidance. She understands that a true leader must take responsibility, not just power.
