I write a lot of fiction and am having trouble getting views. I do write a few true stories but my heart is in writing fiction. I have recently wrote a continuous series titled, Out of the Dust. I have written eight parts to the story and I have a few followers, but how can I go about getting more people to view my fiction work?
Have you thought about publishing your work as an ebook on Amazon KDP? No guarantee of success Larry, but you may find your fiction finds a greater audience. You can still continue to publish any other articles here.
Good luck!
What if you wrote a few articles on how to write fiction? It may generate interest in your fiction articles. "How to" articles apparently do well.
That is a great idea, Bede. I have a couple of ideas that may fit very well into that concept.
Larry, here’s another possibility along the same lines: “how to write fiction” videos. Perhaps it may seem too daunting, but I assure you it’s not. I’ve created a few simple videos with links to my articles. There aren’t a ton of views, in fact, very few. Nonetheless, there’s no harm in trying. Your day will come if you keep at it.

I was a cook for years but I still don't feel like an expert. Do you only want people who write about facts. Thank you...

How are you promoting your poetry and fiction writing now that Hubpages is putting most of it on idle?
by Helen Murphy Howell 11 years ago
Firstly, I only write non-fiction so this is a querie if you like on behalf of the poets and fiction writers on the site. I have looked around but I don't see any challenges or competitions particularly for this group of writers? If there are I apologise for obviously looking in the wrong place. If...

Which do you feel produces a better piece, writes resulting from real experiences and events from the author’s life though they may be hidden in a cloak of fiction or writes that are purely fiction having no associations to the authors real life or experiences and why?
