Ads on Mobile?

I'm noticing that while my ads are showing on the laptop they aren't showing for several articles on the tablet.  I've asked a couple of friends to check it as visitors and they have said they don't see the ads either.  There isn't even a place holder or the word advertisement to indicate there should be one.  As luck would have it they are my biggest traffic articles.  I have no idea how long this may have been occurring for but has anyone else had this problem?

Did you and your friends check to make sure no ad blocking software was running at the time?

I know I wasn't.  I'll have to check with my friends.  But it's only on the tablet, not the phone or laptop all of which is synced.  Thanks.

What type of tablet are you using, Natalie?

ipad.  I see the ads on some articles but not all.  Maybe some kind of fluke.  Thanks.

Sorry.  I'm not a lot of help on this.  I'm still trying to register for Google ad sense and would welcome some pointers on how to earn from this site.  So far I've put in a lot of time and effort with nothing to show for it.

Hi Liz, at the risk of veering off from the original thread, you seem to have some great articles on here. If you want some help with setting up the Ad program then click on Help at the top right of the screen and follow the questions in there and you should be able to get the info you are looking for.

Liz, all of your articles sound like something I would read in an upscale travel magazine.

Thanks for the encouragement, Gregory.  I just have to figure how to earn a little from the effort I put into writing them.

I tried signing up for the Adsense programme and got an email asking me to insert a code in my URL.  I couldn't open the Google page to get the code and was a bit clueless as to what it all meant, so Hub Pages Help have received a question from me.  I'm thinking that I'm looking at a few years before I get the whole thing up and running.  Patience never was a virtue of mine!

The email was from HP or Adsense?  If it was from HP it is probably asking for the code given to you when you are approved for Adsense.  If you haven't been approved yet you wouldn't have one yet.

Liz - I know it takes a while and until you get to the point you have been approved for adsense it can seem like a lot of effort for little back.  Though not a hard and fast rule, it usually takes around six month and 10 featured articles before you can get adsense approval. It takes some longer and more articles and some of us did it quicker with less.  Your articles are strong and well written so I can't imagine you'll have a problem.  Just keep writing and try again when you have 10 featured articles.  You can try before but if you get turned down it can add to your frustration and possibly decrease your productivity.  Plus getting approved a few articles earlier won't likely make more than a few cents difference in earnings so it doesn't matter on that end.  Good luck.  We're rooting for you!

Ads are not showing up for any of my HP articles because I recently installed ad blocker software on my Chromebook.

Right, checked this - I don't have any on any of my devices or my laptop.  Does it even have a placeholder without an ad or not even that?

Natalie, for the following HP article, I don’t see placeholders. Do you? Maybe I’m missing something.

However, I always notice placeholders on all of my Outlook email accounts where those pesky ads used to show up near the top of the page before I installed ad blocker software.

Let me know if I can be of further help.

I see the ads on this one so it's cool.

I checked everything earlier today on a different computer using Firefox as a browser and no ad blocker software. Everything looks markedly different with all the ads.

I don't know which specific articles you are talking about, but when I checked out 3 of your articles I was seeing ads on mobile.

It's not all mobile - my phone shows them but my tablet does not.
