Questionable recommended hub

   There is a hub recommended on nearly every new article, “What Do Men Really Think About Pubic Hair On Women,” that is cause for wonder. With all due respect, it seems so asinine, bothersome, coarse, discouraging, etc that I’ve thought of alternative sites to publish. I’d much prefer so stay on HP, however, and so I ask…
   
   Why can’t the team recommend something more neutral, such as about trees or flowers, rather than something so lowbrow and offensive?

   I realize that the team is experimenting but it seems more sensible to have hubs of a feather to flock together. I checked one of my articles last evening (on St. Hildegard), and there were two recommended articles on caterpillars and one on “What’s the Difference Between a Rat and a Mouse?” Granted these are not offensive but what’s the connection?

      This is acceptable when they are "testing" not the end result. But the other stuff people see isn't acceptable even as a test IMO.

         Yes, I don’t have a major problem with these unconnected and inoffensive articles, but I do think that “related” hubs are a better choice over “recommended.” I’m not referring simply to my articles; I’ve often found interesting and related articles in the sidebar of someone I’m following. It was a helpful feature.

            I really like the related feature. I still see it and I always find other interesting articles there. Also, they are almost 100% related to the topic.

               It’s interesting that you see only related – I’m only seeing recommended, except when the page first loads. It disappears a couple seconds later.

   I don't think we need both recommended and related hubs IMO.  It seems by listing related hubs these would be assumed to be recommended.  If there are others that aren't related why would they be recommended unless this is just a way for HP to move traffic to specific articles of their choosing?
