Did you vote in the mid term elections? Which way did you go?
    Republican or Democrat?

        Wow. The vitriol never ceases.

Did I identify any party? Was racism a factor in this election, such as "monkey up" and "cotton picking" in the Florida governor's race?

Does either side ever use propaganda to achieve its ends?

I am allowed by law to vote against something I think is morally objectionable. Racism and fake news by either party are morally objectionable.

It is no different than your many posts about why you voted against Hillary Clinton. I say that not as a criticism but only as a point of reason.

Stating you're voting against racism and fake news is vitriol? I would think good, rational people would vote against those things.

I would think that to state such shows partisan vitriol, which adults should avoid.

I guess we disagree that stating an opposition to racism and fake news is partisan vitriol.

Only when you don't back it up with specifics. If you just throw out a negative, without that, it's just a negative.

I get it. But, by your posts, we know which party you are downing. Either way, let's hope this election shows our reps that we want them to work together to find bipartisan solutions.

promisemposted 5 years agoin reply to this

I agree that my biases are well known along with everyone else on here.

But I'm not downing an entire party because it's a flimsy generalization  (although my former party has given me many reasons to down it). I'm downing racism, just as I would any other form of discrimination.

And again, both parties use propaganda, which is why I didn't mention one.

Otherwise, I agree. Let's hope we see more bipartisan solutions.

I did vote in the mid-term elections today at my university, we may get a new head of student council. Let's see. Fingers crossed. The new guy is more of a Democrat who is in favour of a new badminton court, unlike the present guy who is all Football Football Football.

If it seems like it, nope I'm not joking big_smile

I would hope that political decisions are not made based on the type of sport one prefers.

lobobrandonposted 5 years agoin reply to this

It's not a political decision. It's the student association and they are in charge of sports activities and organizing other student events. The current sports committee only funds football-related activities. Nothing else, no swimming, not other sports, not even athletics. So it's not a political decision per se.

No Blue Wave -The Blue War rages .

The biggest loser , the News Media !   The leftist war against Trump will continue however without the massive slant of USA Pravda's agenda , the people see right through the B.S.  as this media obstruction dies a slow death .

I love it that Trump lost LESS seats in the house than Obama , Clinton and GW Bush did.   That speaks loudly for the Trump political agenda and for the people who believe in America first !

R -Straight Ticket- Always , No socialism in America
