   Hello! I am new to HubPages but not to writing.
   
   I don't know why it's taken me so long to join this lovely community, but I guess all that matters at this point is that I finally had time and frame of mind to join.
   
   I am really looking forward to interacting with those who are most active on HubPages, and hopefully, we can gain something positive from one another.
   
   I have pretty much read most of the terms and conditions, as well as various blogs about how to benefit from writing on HubPages.
   
   However, if any veterans have some secret nuggets of advice, I would absolutely love to hear.

      Welcome. Bienvenue. Wilkommen. Settle down, strap yourself in and enjoy the ride. My nugget of advice, based on personal experience - if you want to earn then write original, evergreen articles on a topic you know inside out/are truly knowledgeable about, and try to go one better than your rivals. Think mid- to long term for solid financial reward.
      But I guess you knew all that anyways!!

      Hello and welcome! I think you will love it here. Write about topics you know a lot about and that are evergreen, seasonable articles don't get much traffic, or only at one time of year.
      
      You can write on several niches of interest. Once you write a few articles, submit them to niche sites, and then they get traffic. Traffic won't come overnight, you need a body of work and maybe six months. But it will come, just stay with it. The community is nice and you can always reach out for help! Best Wishes!

      Thanks! I feel so terrible actually. All my HubPages notifications were going into my spam folder for some reason. I actually thought no one liked me..lolzzz! I was kinda sad, to be honest.
      
      Then something told me to log on and low and behold! Tons of responses. Made my day.

   I hope things go well for you. When I first started writing for HubPages I was nervous as I thought I would not do well. Well I am still working on that but things are going better than I thought. Just try your best and get content out there for people to see.
