Submit to a Hub pages Network Site

   I have tried to submit my hub,
   'United States of America Declaration of Independence,' to a Hub pages Network  Site.
   This hub has been published, so why may I not submit it?
   Would appreciate any assistance.

      If my memory is correct, something already posted can not be posted here under certain circumstances, maybe that is the problem so check the forum rules.

         That's not the issue. Anita's trying to get her article moved from HubPages to one of the network sites like Owlcation.

      I saw it. It's pretty good. It's likely that there are already hubs on the exact same topic on Owlcation...

         I  checked the above hub. It covers the same subject but is not the same. Surely there are many hubs on similar subjects.

   If it's not what theraggedege mentioned, maybe it just hasn't been long enough since you last submitted an article (there needs to be a 2-week gap).

   I have now tried to submit another article, 'How Are Goose Down Comforters Made?'
   This article has also been refused?
   I have read the rules and regulations, and feel my article is up to standard.
   I would also like some advice on what sort of product I can advertise on this hub.
   The goose down comforter that I had on this hub, has been removed. I find this strange as the hub is after all about goose down comforters.
   I noticed that a car is advertised on this hub. What has a car got in common with a goose down comforter?

      Anita, HubPages seems to be getting more diligent with refusing articles that cover topics already written. At least that's something I noticed. The article gets published, but they don't accept it to a niche site unless you change the focus to write about the subject from a different angle. I'm dealing with a situation like that now.
      
      As for the Amazon ad of the goose down comforter being removed — did you write about your own experience with it?
      
      You have to show that you are indeed using the product yourself. That is the rule now, even if the product is related to the article. You need to be a user, and the ad needs to serve a purpose to benefit the reader, not just to benefit you for a sale.
      
      This rule is necessary to keep Google happy with the niche sites. Google has been getting very tough with spammy content. If it looks spammy to the bots, it reduces your ranking. You can avoid the spammy look by using the product yourself, including it only if it's 100% related, and only if it is 100% necessary for the article to be useful both reader.

         Thank you Glenn. Yes I have been fortunate in sleeping under a goose down comforter. You don't need a electric blanket if you have one.

   I hope I am asking help in the correct place.
   I want to advertise a product that is on my article, 'How To Make Feta and Cottage Cheese.'
   I need the link to this product, so that I can place a link to the product on my blog and on Pinterest. On my hub it says buy, which then takes you to Amazon. I checked on Amazon but see no link there.
   Where do I find the link? My affiliate sales are pathetic, and I hope by advertising elsewhere I might improve my sales.
   Your help and advice will be appreciated. My views are pathetic as well as I cannot get more hubs on Hub pages Network Site. I believe that although these hubs are published only the hubs on the network site are seen by Google?

   Anita, take a look at some of the raggededge's hubs. As far as I know she is very successful at making Amazon sales. She blends the links into her articles rather than making them read like a sales pitch.

   Remember you only need someone to click on ONE Amazon link in your hub and you get commission from ANY purchases they make from Amazon over the next 24 hours (because a cookie is put on their computer with your identifier attached.)

   I am not sure where you find the link on Amazon? I found the product but where is the link? I want to add this product to my blog and Pinterest. As I am not getting a lot of views on hub pages I might be more successful with affiliate marketing on my blog.

   To add an Amazon in-text link you need to do the following.
   
   1. Go into edit mode of a text capsule.
   2. Highlight two or three words of the text where you want the link to appear.
   3. Click on the padlock symbol.
   4. Add the URL of the relevant Amazon page.
   5. Click save on this mini capsule.
   6. Click save on the text capsule.
   7. Save edit of complete hub.
   
   To remove the in-text link go through the same steps as above but click on the broken padlock symbol.

      Could you also advise which kind of product would be accepted for my hub, 'How Are Goose Down Comforters Made.'

         Hi, Anita. Did you review the particular brand and version of goose down comforter that you were trying to sell? HubPages wants us to describe the specific item in our Amazon capsule or link. If you wrote an article about goose down comforters in general but said nothing about your experience with the product in the Amazon capsule or your opinion of the product, that would probably be the reason why the capsule was deleted.

         The product you link to must not only be one that you have personal experience of, but must also be related to the title.
         
         For example if your title was "The Best Goose Down Comforters of 2019" you could discuss the pros and cons of several goose down comforters on the market and say which one, and why, the best one is X, and then put in a link to X.
         
         However your title is "How X are made". So any links must relate to "How". If this was a "How to" craft hub you could link to special yarns or specialist equipment needed to complete the project, (not to a ready-made end product itself.)
         
         Not all hub topics have a suitable Amazon product to link to. If you have a specific product in mind, it may be better to start again and write a new hub incorporating the above guidance.
